Noah and the Whale

Here's a talented group called Noah and the Whale. They're an Indie-Folk band from the UK. The lyrics are beautiful and they even made a short film to go with it! Take a look "Blue Skies":

Arctic Voyage

Ben Saunders has quite the expedition before him. He is planning to reach the Geographic North Pole solo and unsupported, trying to beat the 36 days and 22 hours record made by a guided team with sled dogs and several air drops along the way in 2005. Then in 2010, a Canadian team reached the Pole by foot and one food air drop, completing their goal in 41 days and 18 hours. Saunders is setting to beat both of these records on his own by 35 days. Here's a clip of his adventure:

Scotland's Gem

This is a phenomenal athlete, Danny MacAskill, from Scotland. Found this video a while back, but it's still worth mentioning. This guy's talent is unbelievable. You'll be amazed by his stunts. The video is topped off with two amazing songs by Loch Lomond "Wax and Wire" and The Jezabells "A Little Piece". Enjoy:

Inspirational

Here's another inspirational video. Great cinematography, subject, and all around video. Henry Jun Wah Lee is a talented cinematographer as well as photographer. If you're a fan of nature, then I assure you that his work will be inspirational. The whole video is shot in Yosemite, CA, a prized National Park that brings back memories of my childhood. Enjoy:

Southwest Ireland

Here are some photos from traveling through Co. Kerry, Ireland. Honestly such an incredible, rural part of Ireland. Located on a peninsula in Southwest of the island. Love the clouds/mist that was looming over causing mountaintops to disappear in the horizon. Hope you enjoy:

Black and White

There's something that draws me to black and white photography, I don't know what it is. Maybe it's because we live in a world of color that it's nice to view life through another perspective. Here's a shot I like from a cemetery in Limerick:

Another Element

So I figured I would start using this blog as more than just posting my photos. As a student I find it hard to be shooting all the time, let alone have the funds to purchase certain equipment that I would love to have, specifically a housing to start shooting underwater. Anyway, I figured I would starting sharing inspirational works from other artists as well. I've realized blogging is a great way to find inspirational artists and I'd like to share them with you.

I'm going to start with this amazing video filmed by Allan Wilson, enjoy! Prepare for goosebumps!
